The present website has been designed to convey knowledge on and permit general access to users of the information, activities and different services, both their own and by third parties, of the Roger Torné Foundation.

Usage of this website is subject to the following usage conditions. Please read them carefully. Access to this website and usage of materials contained herein implies that you have read and accept, without any reservations, these conditions. The utilisation of some of the spaces and services contained on this website may be subject to particular usage conditions.

In compliance of Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services, as well as Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection, the following information is placed at your disposal corresponding to identifying data of the entity that owns this website, as well as the legal aspects to take into account.

1. Company identification

The foundation is called the ‘Roger Torné’ Private Foundation and is registered under number 92 of the Foundations Registry in accordance with the Order by the Councillor of Justice of 09/10/1984 and is subject to legislation by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The corporate domicile is established at Rambla de Catalunya number 50 principal 2 in Barcelona (08007 Barcelona).

2. Usage conditions

2.1 By accepting the general conditions, users commit to using the present website and the services made available therein, in the way established on said site. They are obligated to not use the website and its services for unlawful ends and/or contrary to the aims established in the present general conditions that could damage third party rights and/or interests or that in any way could damage or prevent the proper operation of the services that are offered therein or that could be offered in the future.

3.1 The Roger Torné Foundation does not guarantee continual access to the contents of its website or the absence of viruses and/or other damaging components on the website or on its services. Nor does it guarantee the proper display or downloading that could be impeded, made difficult or interrupted due to factors or circumstances not owing to the Foundation.

3.2 The Foundation does not take responsibility for possible damages or losses caused by interferences, interruptions or disconnections in the system that are outside its control or for possible damages caused to users' computers (hardware and software) as a consequence of accessing the website. Thus, access to our website and browsing on the site is done at the responsibility of users.

4. Intellectual property rights

4.1 All of the contents of this website, whether they are texts, images, sounds, files, trademarks, logotypes, colour combinations or any other element, its structure and design, the selection and way of presenting the materials included therein, and the computer programs required for its operation, access and usage, are protected by industrial and intellectual, owned by the Roger Torné Foundation or, where applicable, by its licensors, which the users of this website must respect.

4.2 Any type of operation on the contents of this website, that is the reproduction, distribution, transfer to third parties, public communication or transformation, total or partial, on any support or medium is prohibited (including texts, data, graphics, sounds, videos, images, logotypes) without the express and previous consent of the Roger Torné Foundation, except where otherwise stated or where its use is private and does not infringe on the rights recognised for the Foundation by current legislation in force. Breach of this obligation may constitute an infraction that is punishable by legislation in force.

5. Data protection

5.1 For the purposes of that which is set forth in Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection, the Roger Torné Foundation notifies users that all personal data provided at any time and voluntarily to our Foundation or to its employees will be included in a computer file of personal data created and maintained under the Foundation’s responsibility. Said data will be processed with the exclusive aim of responding to the planned issues.

So that the information contained in our files is always updated and does not contain errors, we request users to notify us as soon as possible about modifications and rectifications to their personal data. Users will be responsible in all cases for the truthfulness of the data provided and the Foundation reserves the right to exclude all users from registered services who have provided false data, without detriment to other actions that are applicable in law.

The Roger Torné Foundation pledges to comply with its obligation of secrecy of personal data and its duty to safeguard them. We also notify you that all technical and organisational security measures have been adopted that are necessary to guarantee the protection of your personal data and prevent their unauthorised alteration, loss, handling and/or access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, all of this in accordance with that which is established in Article 9 of the LOPD and in chapter VIII of Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, through which the new Regulation of implementation of the Organic Data Protection Law was approved.

5.2 With regard to the data elicited in the way set forth in the previous sections, users may exercise their rights that are recognised by law and, in particular, the rights to access, rectify, cancel or oppose data, if relevant, as well as the right to revoke the consent given for cession of their data.
