Closing Ceremony for Aire exhibition
After a brief introduction by Obra social “la Caixa” and by Fundació Roger Torné, AIRE exhibition closed the doors last October 9th in CosmoCaixa Barcelona, with Marduix magic and the celebration of a puppets show for children carried out by AIRETA.
Marduix has created a character and a whole symbology starting in the first tale, “Pintar el Aire”, belonging to Colección Mapendo and published by the Foundation, in order to transmit the children the importance of taking care of the air we are breathing.
During the play, an adaptation of “Pintar el Aire” tale, we knew Aireta, the leading character. She starts her adventure looking for a flower that has special powers, which can transform and purify air. We were absolutely surprised due to the tale fantasy and the staging.
Marduix is one of the most prestigious groups working with puppets in our country. Their staging full of light, colour and sensitivity has turned them into a reference in the art of transmitting using puppets.
