“¡Pintar el Aire!” Show

 

Last April 11th we shared with more than 300 people a day full of light, music, colour and sound where kids were the protagonists as well as the tale “¡Pintar el Aire!”.

Packa Rodrigo and Joan Baixas, together with Maurici Vilavecchia playing the piano participated on the event, offering a visual theatre show created and directed especially for kids and families; it was based on Mabel Pièrola book “¡Pintar el Aire!”.

Besides, Fundació L’Arc de Barcelona children chorus, which is composed ofmore than fifty children offeredone performance making us all enjoy of a recreational and festive repertoire.

In the frame of this event, we delivered the Children Tales Mapendo Prize to Amaia Cia Abascal, winner on this first edition. She won the contest with her tale “Margarita quiere fabricar montañas”, which will be published as the second tale in Mapendo Collection.

We also delivered the prizes to Mauricio Angulo, Marta Chavero, Paula Ruiz, Shalom Saavedra and Mar Serrallonga, all of them finalists on the Children Drawing Contest for Mapendo Prize whose name this year was “How would you paint the air?”

And, to celebrate the event, the Foundation invited all the audience to drink hot chocolate.
