Last November we had the opportunity to listen to Dr Joan Grimalt during his lecture “Lights and shadows regarding human influence on global warming current process”.
Jordi Sunyer, Scientific Director during the Conferences, tackled the key subject: children’s health and global warming.
During his lecture, Dr Hayes outlined the existence of an important net of interrelations among global warming, human behavior and different ways of life when explaining the factors that have an influence on diseases transmitted by vectors.

During the Conferences on “Global Warming and children’s health” organized by Fundació Roger Torné the first results carried out in Catalonia were presented regarding the research on temperature and mortality.
