“If we offered Respiro to parents and children, it would become a success each weekend”

We have been talking to Soledad Román, Fundació Roger Torné’s General Director, about the sense of Open Doors Days of Respiro.

We have been talking to Soledad Román, Fundació Roger Torné’s General Director, about the sense of Open Doors Days of Respiro.

The call for AIREA 2012, the summer camps organized for children from 5 to 13 by Fundació Roger Torné, is already open.

“Everything we inculcate to our children during their childhood is a legacy that will be extended throughout their lives and that will perform as a shield in front of the aggressions of environment”.

Our motivation is respiratory children’s health and to plant a seed on the children’s habits.

In our Foundation, we are aware of how good it is for children to lose touch during holidays. Losing touch with television, computer games and also mobile phones.

Parents need information, forums and areas to be able to expose their queries. This is why Fundació Roger Torné organizes this kind of activities.

Nowadays, respiratory pathologies are one of the main problems on children’s health in the world, including the most developed societies.

It is several months ago that the places to attend “How do we breathe?” Workshop Conferences run out, which shows the interest rised by these recreational-educational activities.

The things we learn when we are kids, accompany us throughout our life and if the habits are good, our health will be thankful.

It is very important for Fundació Roger Torné the collaboration of the media in their task of spreading the importance of children’s respiratory health.
