1st Cooperation to Development Conferences
Fundació Roger Torne cooperation initiatives give support to the achievement of the millennium development aims and it is mainly sensitized with the reduction of extreme poverty and childhood mortality as well as in the ways of increasing environmental sustainability.
That is why, the first lectures organized by Fundació Roger Torné which took place during November 5th and 6th 2009 at the University of Seville, were organized on the subject “Cooperation to development, health, childhood and environmental sustainability” and various experts on the different working areas attended them.
The lecturers attending the conferences gave a transversal and sincere view regarding the reality and challenges in cooperation to development, both from an economic area and from the point of view of efficient evaluation of the cooperation programmes, the environmental sustainability or the health protection as mankind essential right to reach development.
