1st Mapendo Prize on Children Drawing
In its task of diffusion, the Fundació Roger Torné does not forget the childhood field. That is why it also organizes activities addressed to children in order to make them share the importance of respiratory health and of being in touch with nature.
On that frame, Foundation Roger Torné announces the 1st children drawing contest for boys and girls aged between 3 and 12, where they are invited to give an answer to the following question: “How would you paint the air?” through a drawing and a innovative explanatory sentence. The decision was taken on November 25th, and the winner was Macarena Pérez, 6 years old, pupil in the Santa Ángela de Osuna school (Sevilla). Besides, the jury chose 10 finalists: (atención: dos puntos al final de la frase)

- Rocío Cansino, 8 years old.
- Marta Chavero, 11 years old.
- Daniel Chavarría, 6 years old.
- Patricia Povea, 9 years old.
- Julia Rodríguez, 7 years old.
- Paula Ruiz, 5 years old.
- Shalom Saavedra, 5 years old.
- Mar Serrallonga, 12 years old.
- Pablo Valdivia, 6 years old.
At the end of January, the prizes will be delivered to the kids by Fundació Roger Torné.
These are the prizes!
- A big batch of Pelikan products (Procolor watercolours box with 24 different colours, a griffix pencil, a griffix Soller, a griffix pen, a fountain pen, a box with colours and a set of paints for canvas) will be given to the winner.
- A set of 10 books ¡Pintar el aire! (“Painting the air!”) and also 10 books with the second Mapendo story that will be delivered to the winner school library.
- A Procolor box and 24 Pelikan watercolours for each one of the 9 contestants who reach the final.
- One copy of the book ¡Pintar el aire! (“Painting the air!”) for the winner and for each one of the 9 finalist contestants.
Moreover, the winner drawing and the sentence will illustrate Foundation Roger Torné Christmas card this year.
