
Fundació Roger Torné reinforces its support to quality research by signing an agreement with Seville University, one of the five Spanish universities that have obtained the mention ‘campus de excelencia’ (AND-TECH), from which the Professorship of Economy of Energy and Environment was born.
Both Seville University and Fundació Roger Torné agree that the creation of this professorship helps empower studies, experiences, research and divulgation, as well as the diffusion of its results to the society, and enhance research in the fields of energy and environment.
The Professorship addresses, among others, the area of study of health and environment economics that will promote studies to weigh the economic value that damaging the environment represents in human health, as well as to present its results either in specialized forums or in informative activities. The importance of breathing health is very high in this study field, because it is one of the main worrying factors when valuing the environmental damage.
