Respiro 2010/2011
Respiro is a healthy and educational alternative created for children leisure; it is held on Saturdays from October to June in Masía El Polell, located in Montseny Natural Park.
It is addressed to children suffering from light respiratory problems or healthy but whose parents are interested on learning healthy habits and favour the development of respiratory system being in touch with nature.
Respiro activities: Physioclasses, yoga and workshops with different purposes. The Naturalistic ones have been created in collaboration with L’Esplai.
During the year 2011/2012, the activities are related with a nature element:
- 1st Quarter: The Wood.
- 2nd Quarter: Nature's elements.
- 3rd Quarter: The stones.
The price established does not cover the whole of the expenses that its execution entails. That is why this project has a high social component since the percentage assumed by Fundació Roger Torné is 75% of the total cost, being this one of its commitments towards childhood. It includes travelling expenses from Barcelona, activities, lunch, afternoon snack as well as the medical professional who will supervise each one of the sessions. Moreover, the Fundació schedules a series of scolarships to ill children whose parents are suffering unfavourable financial situations.
